We have an exciting part-time opportunity (25 hours a week) for a Receptionist to join our team on a short-term contract basis in preparation for the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2022. This is a contract role which will conclude in late November.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will successfully manage the office reception function to ensure it is effectively & efficiently run.

The primary focus of the role will be:

  • Handling of customer service enquiries, via phone and emails
  • Issuing AGPC staff uniforms in the lead up to the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2022 and managing the collection of them during the offboarding of event staff
  • Provide general administration support to the Office Manager & AGPC staff

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Proficient in basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Excellent telephone manner; verbal and written communication skills
  • Amazing attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Motivated and enthusiastic attitude
  • A team player with a good work ethic
  • Enjoys assisting customers and staff
