We are excited to announce that we are looking for a TSY – Storage Yard Supervisor to join our highly motivated, talented and driven Operations Department.

Reporting to Manger – Tottenham Storage Yard, you will successfully support TSY operations by providing storage yard supervision, HSE Support, logistics services and asset maintenance services for AGPC assets and infrastructure.

The primary focus of the role will be:

  • Supervising yard operations and staff
  • Maintain AGPC assets as required. Involving painting, welding, grinding, carpentry work, miscellaneous sorting and cleaning.
  • Operation of forklifts for the picking, retrieving and loading/unloading of assets.
  • Manage and track key infrastructure assets.
  • Manage the access control of external parties arriving at TSY and undertake weekly toolbox meetings.
  • Provide support to the TSY Manager and R&S team on the development of HSE documentation.
  • Facilitate TSY inductions to contractors and AGPC staff.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and safe operations are undertaken at the yard.
  • Key administrative duties to aid operations.
  • Create and maintain positive customer/stakeholder relationships.

 To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Prior experience in a similar stores/asset maintenance role, leading a team
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-changing environment
  • Understanding of responsible manual handling practices
  • Understanding of role related OHS issues and requirements
  • Forklift Licence
  • First Aid Certificate
