We are excited to announce that we are looking for an Event Workforce Coordinator to join our highly motivated, talented and driven Operations Department.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be an integral part of the Venue Operations team, effectively coordinating the operational functions associated with the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park and the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island.

The primary focus of the role will be:

  • Event workforce planning in accordance with the venue operations project plan and deliverables.
  • Contractor and contract management, including documentation, execution, and stakeholder liaison.
  • Coordination and development of security and event staff related documentation that are critical to the workforce delivery.
  • Coordination of all event workforce training working with stakeholders to deliver relevant training to event time staff.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A degree qualified in either event management, human resources, or business is desirable.
  • Knowledge of operations staffing requirements for large scale events.
  • Adobe and Microsoft Suite knowledge is preferable.

  • That can demonstrate enthusiasm for the provision of quality customer experiences.
  • That can confidently manage a broad range of contactors to effectively enforce compliance and delivery of service level agreements.
  • That can work effectively as part of a team in a fast-changing environment.
  • That has strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • That demonstrates passion for delivering world class events.

The role has a touch point across all functions of the business, and it is this depth and breadth of exposure to a large scale workforce that gives the role rare access to all operational elements of the F1 and MotoGP events.
