We have an exciting opportunity for an Event Manager to join our highly motivated, talented and driven Sales & Commercial team on a permanent full-time basis.  

Reporting to the Division Manager – Commercial Partnerships, Hospitality & Events, this role oversees and manages the special events register and implementation of all events including Official Welcome function, Glamour on the Grid,  and ancillary programs. This calendar of events are both in-house and third party, with responsibilities focusing on concept through to delivery throughout the year, as required and at both F1 and MotoGP Events.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • At least 3+ years experience within an event-based account management role
  • Demonstrable skill and experience in managing sophisticated partnerships (High end clientele experience will be highly regarded)
  • Well-developed lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal, networking, communication and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrable skills in time management, planning and strategic thinking, combined with strong commercial acumen
  • Integrity, focus and emotional maturity, combined with the ability to self-motivate
  • Superior organisation skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to combine a systematic and logical approach with broader strategic thinking
  • Knowledge of AGPC products and processes
  • Immaculate and professional personal presentation
