Reporting to the Division Manager – Infrastructure Services, this role is responsible for the facilitation and delivery of the Capital Works and Asset Management Program for the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix on time and within budget.
This role is a long term contract role until June 2025.
As a member of the Design & Construction Department, the Capital Works & Asset Manager will lead the AGPC and Engineering Project Manager on the delivery of Capital Projects including Asset Management, Project Planning, Project Controls, Budgeting, and other miscellaneous works applicable to the Capital Works projects.
The Capital Works & Asset Manager will support the future Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix events through the development of a 10-year works plan and the road mapping of associated Infrastructure Services deliverables.
This is an important role required to support the Design & Construction Department.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Event Experience.
- Experience and understanding of cost control/budget responsibility.
- Significant project management experience, including management or coordination of infrastructure or building projects.
- Relevant work experience or tertiary qualifications, possibly in event management, project/construction management, engineering, or business.
