We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Senior Manager - Motorsport to join our highly motivated, talented, and driven Operations Department.

Reporting to the Division Manager - Motorsport, this role is responsible for ensuring organisational effectiveness by providing leadership for the Motorsport Operations functions and contributing to the overall success of the Operations department and Australian Grand Prix Corporation’s delivery of each event.

The Senior Manager - Motorsport will manage the overall critical motorsport timeline & tasks across the 12-month planning and delivery cycle, and the road mapping of milestones and ongoing innovation and strategic planning of key deliverables.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experienced in managing people and teams.
  • Experience in developing and delivery on strategy.
  • Extensive knowledge and evidence of application of FIM, FIA, Motorsport Australia, MA rules and Regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge in event regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial budgeting and forecasting.
  • Effective self-management, including the ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Relevant experience in Motorsport event management or tertiary qualifications in sport and/or event management.
