We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Commercial Partnerships Account Manager to join our Sales and Commercial Department.

 

Reporting to the Manager – Commercial Partnerships, this role is responsible for the partnership and servicing of client accounts, and encompasses all AGPC assets and partnership opportunities, from hospitality products to sponsorship activations.

 

The key objectives of this role are:

 

  • Delivery of sponsorship contractual rights and benefits that range from event activations, digital promotions, media releases, at event deliverables and more.
  • Delivery of corporate hospitality components, from fit out to end of event closure.
  • Relationship/account management of a portfolio of event sponsors across multiple categories.
  • Assisting the Sales team with any proposals/quotations and initial meetings.
  • Work proactively with the Sales Team and Manager - Commercial Partnerships to transition signed clients/partners, as seamlessly and professionally as possible.
  • Assistance in planning and delivery of dedicated partner ancillary events.
  • Execution of post event debrief documents and meetings.
  • Facilitation of operational processes, i.e. safety and insurance, accreditation, infrastructure ordering and planning, invoicing and other related administrative tasks.

 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in partnership management and delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation and partner retention.
  • Experience in dealing with global brands.
  • Demonstrated experience in bringing brand activations to life. 
  • Experience in event management and activation delivery.
  • Events industry and specialised events experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience in event operations and the facilitation of event bump in/outs.

 

This is a short-term contract till 19th April 2024.
