We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our People, Culture and Capability team. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, People and Capability, this role is responsible for high quality, consistent and reliable delivery of the talent acquisition function for the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and assisting the Senior Manager, People and Capability and the broader PCC team by contributing to the overall successful delivery of a contemporary and responsive People, Culture and Capability function.

The key focus areas of the role include:

  • Oversee end to end recruitment process and coordinate the recruitment of permanent, long term and short-term staff for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park and the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and processes that align with AGPC workforce requirements.
  • Work with the PCC team to provide coaching & education of hiring managers as to recruitment & interviewing techniques, guidelines and best practice.
  • Develop best practice initiatives relating to attraction and candidate management processes.
  • Development and maintenance of talent pool.
  • Represent the PCC department on interview panels.
  • Conducting shortlisting, phone screenings, interviews and reference checks as required
  • Induction, Onboarding and Offboarding
  • PCC System Management & Maintenance
  • PCC inbox management

 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated minimum 3 years of relevant recruitment and/or HR experience.
  • Experience within sports / events highly regarded
  • Strong ability to manage high volume vacancies across all job categories
  • Understanding of Fair Work and National Employment standards
  • Genuine passion for recruitment / talent acquisition
