Life in the fast lane

We are looking for our next Accreditation 2IC to join our Operations team.

Reporting to the Accreditation Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing, allocation, production, and distribution of accreditation in the lead up to and during the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2024 and the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2025.

Additionally, you will:

  • Facilitate and coordinate all accreditation enquiries from AGPC staff, third parties/applicants and the wider accreditation team, including pre-approval applications
  • Collaborate with the wider operations team to integrate access control procedures with operational activities.
  • Implement strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Accreditation processes.
  • Facilitate debriefs before, during, and after events to capture and retain team insights.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Event Accreditation Office, ensuring all event accreditation is processed and distributed in a timely manner.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in events, with an understanding of accreditation.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with confidence liaising with all levels of internal and external stakeholder
  • Strong administrative skills with an ability to build operational timelines, and documentation specific to each event.
  • Comfortability working in a busy and dynamic environment, including some out of hours work during the event
  • A current Police Check and Employee Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)

 

This is a full time, fixed-term contract through until March 2025.
