We are looking for our next Division Manager – People, Culture and Capability to join our People, Culture and Capability team.

Reporting to the Head of People, Culture and Capability, this role is responsible for managing the overall operations of the People, Culture and Capability (PCC) team and embedding programs, frameworks and systems to enhance the capability of AGPC employees.

Additionally, you will:

  • Be a visible and trusted advisor to senior leaders on people-related issues, providing guidance and support.
  • Facilitate opportunities across AGPC to engage and collaborate with others to develop joint solutions.
  • Participate and actively contribute to PCC strategic planning and initiatives.
  • Oversee, manage and guide direct reports to deliver a reliable and responsive PCC function, across all BAU administrative activities including talent acquisition, payroll, reward and recognition, performance management, employee engagement and employee relations. 
  • Drive the design of equitable workplace systems, policies and practices that enable individuals to contribute to their best ability.
  • Provide support to managers and employees in relation to the management of performance issues.
  • Enhance the AGPC brand to attract quality candidates and promote the organisation as an employer of choice.
  • Responsible for senior level talent acquisition and interview process.
  • Manage the delivery of staff briefing events for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, and the Motorcycle Grand Prix.
  • Oversee the event deliverables for the PCC team, including event related talent acquisition. 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Degree or Post Graduate qualifications in Human Resources or 15+ years of hands-on experience in generalist HR roles
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and partnering with senior leaders.
  • Highly knowledgeable in interpreting and applying industrial instruments such as enterprise agreements, legislation, policies, and employment contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience in grievance and dispute management.
  • A current Police Check and Employee Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
